Merge PDF PLUS Online Tutorial

This online tutorial is for Merge PDF PLUS users so that they can make use of the app better.

Differences between the limited trial version and the full version

You can use all the features in both the one-week free full trial version and the full version while in the limited trial version only the “Merge PDF” but no other features are available.

How to Merge PDF?

The Merger PDF tool in this app allows you to merge PDF files very efficiently.

Step 1, open this tool by clicking the menu “Merge PDF”, if it’s not open yet.

Step 2, click the button “Add”, then in the pop-up window, select multiple PDF files that you want to merge, and click the button “Open”. Now the selected files are added into the tool.

Step 3, (optional) if you need to remove one file from the list, select that file and click the button “Remove It” at the right end of the row.

Step 4, (optional) if you need to adjust the order of the files, select that file and click the button “Move Down” or “Move Up” at the right end of the row.

Step 5, click the button “…” to select an output folder

Step 6, click the button “Merge”, and the merging process will start. Once the merging is complete, the app will open the output folder with the new merged file selected.

Step 7, click the button “Finish” to reset the tool.

How to Split PDF?

In this app, the PDF Page Tool allows you to easily split a PDF file.

The PDF Page Tool can be accessed by clicking the menu “PDF Page Tool”.

Step 1, click the button “Open” to choose and open the PDF file that you want to split. The page thumbnails of that file will be displayed.

Step 2, select the pages that you want to split out from the PDF file by clicking them. You can also click the button “Select All” to select all pages.

Step 3, with the pages selected, click the button “Split”. Now you will notice, the selected pages are put into a new file, and they are removed from the original file.

Step 4, click the button “Save” or “Save As” to save the new PDF file and the modified original PDF file.

Done!

How to Re-order Pages?

In this app, the PDF Page Tool allows you to easily re-order pages in a PDF file.

The PDF Page Tool can be accessed by clicking the menu “PDF Page Tool”.

Step 1, click the button “Open” to choose and open the PDF file that you want to re-order the pages. The page thumbnails of that file will be displayed.

Step 2, select the page that you want to re-order, and simply DRAG AND DROP it to the new position. For example, I have drag and dropped the 3rd page to the 2nd page position in the screenshot above.

Step 3, click the button “Save” or “Save As” to save the modified PDF file with new page orders.

How to Rotate Pages?

In this app, the PDF Page Tool allows you to easily rotate pages in a PDF file.

The PDF Page Tool can be accessed by clicking the menu “PDF Page Tool”.

Step 1, click the button “Open” to choose and open the PDF file that you want to rotate pages in. The page thumbnails of that file will be displayed.

Step 2, select one or multiple pages that you want to rotate by clicking them. You can also click the button “Select All” to select all pages.

Step 3, with the pages selected, click the button “Rotate”. Now you will notice, the selected pages are rotated to the right. You can keep clicking the button “Rotate” to rotate more angles.

Step 4, click the button “Save” or “Save As” to save the modified PDF file.

How to Remove Pages?

In this app, the PDF Page Tool allows you to easily remove pages from a PDF file.

The PDF Page Tool can be accessed by clicking the menu “PDF Page Tool”.

Step 1, click the button “Open” to choose and open the PDF file that you want to remove pages from. The page thumbnails of that file will be displayed.

Step 2, select one or multiple pages that you want to remove by clicking them. You can also click the button “Select All” to select all pages.

Step 3, with the pages selected, click the button “Remove”. Now you will notice, the selected pages are removed from the PDF file.

Step 4, click the button “Save” or “Save As” to save the modified PDF file.

How to Duplicate Pages?

In this app, the PDF Page Tool allows you to easily duplicate pages from a PDF file to create a new PDF file.

The PDF Page Tool can be accessed by clicking the menu “PDF Page Tool”.

Step 1, click the button “Open” to choose and open the PDF file that you want to duplicate pages from. The page thumbnails of that file will be displayed.

Step 2, select the pages that you want to duplicate from the PDF file by clicking them. You can also click the button “Select All” to select all pages.

Step 3, with the pages selected, click the button “Duplicate”. Now you will notice, the selected pages are put into a new file.

Step 4, click the button “Save” or “Save As” to save the new PDF file.

How to Protect/unprotect PDF?

In this app, the PDF Page Tool allows you to easily add/remove a password to protect/unprotect a PDF file.

The PDF Page Tool can be accessed by clicking the menu “PDF Page Tool”.

Step 1, click the button “Open” to choose and open the PDF file. The page thumbnails of that file will be displayed. Note: if your PDF file is password-protected, you need to input the password to unlock it during the open process.

Step 2, click the button “Protect”, then enter a password, and click the button “Protect File”. Note 1: If you don’t see this button, you may have mistakenly selected some pages. You need to click the button “Unselect” to un-select them. Note 2: if the original PDF file is password-protected, you will see a button “Unprotect” instead of “Protect”, which you can use to remove the password.

Step 3, click the button “Save” or “Save As” to save the modified PDF file.

What Other Features does PDF Page Tool Provide?

Other than the functions mentioned above, the PDF Page Tool also allows provide the following features:

Print PDF file (even before the PDF file is saved)
Duplicate the whole PDF file
Duplicate pages by drag and drop between files

Thumbnail View Options and the button “Clear”

1，by default, the thumbnail size is Medium, as show above. However, you can always change it to “Small View” or “Large View”.

2, the button “Clear” means to close all the opened files.

What to Do if You have Removed All Pages in a PDF File?

If you have removed all pages from a PDF file, you cannot save it. Instead, you will see a warning. In this case, we recommend you directly close it by clicking the “X” button at the top right corner. The file will keep un-modified.
