Why Cannot the App Find the System Drive by Itself?

You need to select the System Drive before starting using the app, not because the app cannot find the information by itself, but because you need to authorize the scanning and cleaning actions on the system drive. Otherwise, the app can do nothing.

Tips for Using Junk and Cache Cleaner

Using the Junk and Cache Cleaner is very simple and straightforward.

Step 1, click the button “Start Scan” to start the scanning process.

Note: Be patient please. The scanning process may take a long time if you haven’t cleaned your system for a while. Also, you can cancel the scanning process at any time by clicking the button “Cancel”.

Step 2, click the button “Clean” to remove the cache files and free up disk space.

Again, this could be a long process if you haven’t cleaned your system for a while.

Tips for Using the large Files Finder

You can access the large files finder tool by clicking the main menu on the top left corner and then selecting “Large Files”.

By default, the scanning folder is your user folder. In most cases you don’t need to change this setting although you can add new folders for scanning, by clicking the button “Add folders” that is located at the right end.

Click the button “Scan” to start the scanning process. Wait patiently for the scanning complete.

Once the scanning is completed, you will see the scanning results. By default, the large files are sorted by the file size in descending order. Carefully identify and review the files one by one, and select the ones that you want to remove, then click the button “Clean” to remove them all together.

When reviewing and identifying the files, you may want to click the button “…” to open the folder where the file is located.

You don’t have to clean the scan result all at once. They are stored for 7 days. To access them, just click the link “Last Scan Result” beside the button “Scan”. After 7 days, they are looked as invalid and you need to do a fresh re-scan if you would like to review and clean them again.

Tips for Using the Duplicate Files Finder

You can access the duplicate files finder tool by clicking the main menu on the top left corner and then selecting “Duplicate Files”.

Once the scanning is completed, you will see the scanning results. By default, the duplicate files groups are sorted by the file size in descending order. Select one file group from the left column and review the duplicate files in this group at the right column. Carefully identify and select the files that you want to remove, then click the button “Clean” to remove them all together.

The duplicate files scan results window can display maximum 100 file groups. If your results are more than 100, it will be displayed as multiple pages. You need to turn pages to review all the result. Note, please review and clean the files page by page. The app doesn’t remember your select files in the previous page when you turn to next.

When reviewing the files, you may want to click the button “…” to open the folder where the file is located.
